Hi Geyser Families!

We have a couple of important roles to fill for this upcoming season! We are looking for a Stroke Judge Lead and a Starter. Below are descriptions for each. Stroke Judge Lead:

Coordinates stroke judge volunteers (Responsible for assessing the legality of a swimmers stroke execution).  This person makes sure all stroke judges understand their duties and helps fill open stroke judge positions at swim meets.  

Starter:

Responsible for announcing heat events and operating starting airhorn at ALL home meets (typically 2 plus the mock meet).

Both of these roles would fulfill your family's entire volunteer requirements. Also, both roles require stroke judge certification (clinics to become certified are offered yearly by our league) and would be best if there was some knowledge of competitive swimming. If you are interested or have questions about what the role entails, please respond to this email and we can chat. These roles are the best seats in the house to cheer on your kids!
